There’s a jewel on our doorstep called Maroochy River Conservation Park, which I had extended by 15 hectares a few years ago.
Local conservation groups have lovingly cherished and worked in the park. There are some special walks, particularly from Ocean Drive, Twin Waters (nearly opposite the resort entrance) through to Mudjimba Beach Holiday Park or Cottonwood Street.
The Park’s extension sits between Ocean Drive, Twin Waters Resort and the Apex Camp and reaches back to the Maroochy River.
