Ministerial Promotion –
I am so honoured to be asked by Premier David Crisafulli to serve in the Queensland Cabinet, following the State Election on October 26, where I was returned in the seat of Maroochydore and the LNP formed government.
On Friday, November 1, I was sworn in by the Governor of Queensland as Minister for Women and Women’s Economic Security, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships, and Multiculturalism.
I greatly look forward to serving in these roles which cover many areas of importance to Queenslanders in all their diversity and I will seek to work with them to have the best opportunity to participate, be heard and contribute to our wonderful State.
It was also a delight to be sworn into the Ministry together with a number of my Sunshine Coast colleagues. They are all terrific to work with and together with the Premier and the rest of the team, we will work hard to bring a fresh start for Queenslanders.
