At just 18, Lachie Smart became the youngest pilot ever to circumnavigate the world in a single engine plane. Four years later this young Sunshine Coast man is helping navigate the 30-year-old family manufacturing business, Smartline Medical, through the turbulent times of COVID-19. Founded by father Will who has always been an innovator looking for solutions to problems, the business now also produces personal protective equipment such as protective screens.
